After graduating from Design Academy Eindhoven, Lex opened his self-titled design studio in Rotterdam in 2009, where he started to work on a variety of projects, creating both one-of-a-kind and mass production pieces.
His method focuses on testing the boundaries and properties of the materials he uses most: wood, stone, and metal. Combining form, function, and fun into each object he creates, Lex experiments and develops unique pieces through his raw and intuitive methodology.
