“How to Approach Drawing In this lesson, we'll see how I create the designs for my marquetry pieces. I often start by drawing by hand and then I create mockups on Adobe Illustrator. For my final project, I want the mirror frame to be inspired by a trip to Seville, so I've collected some objects that I have brought from there, and other things that remind me of that time. I'll start by sketching them out on a piece of paper as I see them. I've put together an arrangement and I'll start sketching it out.
