Sam is an excellent teacher. He explains how to use shadows and light to greatly improve your portraits.

I enjoyed Sam's unassuming presentations. He's a humble dude with a lot of skill. I'll revisit this course, I'm sure.

Me encanta como con capas sucesivas de luces y sombras va apareciendo el retrato que elegimos. Me gusta mucho el resultado final realista pero que al mismo tiempo siga luciendo como un dibujo, se ve la mano creativa del artista.

I really loved this course. It was well presented and has provided me with a perspective on portraiture that I had not considered before. There was plenty of resources provided that reinforces the ideas presented in the video.
Whilst my results are less than perfect I was rather pleased that they were not complete rubbish either. I think that with a bit of effort I will be able to progress to actually getting a likeness. This has completely alluded me in the past. Also it is a lot of fun.
