Il corso è ben strutturato, e offre diversi spunti per migliorare la propria tecnica di disegno. Inoltre l'insegnante ha uno stile di insegnamento molto calmo e rilassato, perfetto per il corso. Forse non si riuscirà a catturare espressioni autentiche, come dice il titolo, ma almeno si avrà una solida base per poter sviluppare un proprio stile.

Of the courses I have taken with Domestika, this is by far the best. It truly gets an ‘excellent’ rating. It all made so much sense. He starts with light and shadow explaining it in a way no other instructor has. Teaching the two value technique then the five value technique is brilliant. It was pure pleasure watching him bring the portrait he demonstrated with to life. Anyone who wants to learn portrait drawing needs to take this course.

Este un maravilloso curso para aprender a dibujar retratos, el profesor Sam Brisley explica de manera excelente y comparte increíbles consejos y trucos para dibujar que nunca me hubiera imaginado, además me pareció genial el poder aprender sus técnicas para aplicarlas a mis retratos y mejorar mi estilo personal. Sam Brisley is a brilliant artist and teacher. Narrating during draw section helped to understand each step to achieve the goal to draw a face. The calming in explaining his drawing process won me over. I hope I could take part in a face-to-face workshop.

Sam es un excelente profesor, la técnica que enseña para dibujar el rostro humano es fantástica, va directo sin tanto relleno o cosas que no vienen al caso.
