“Gouache and Pasting In this lesson, we'll produce the background for our illustration. For this purpose, I've already prepared my final drawing again, and I'm now going to trace the bits that I'm going to transfer to the toned paper. To do this, I have a blank sheet of tracing paper, I placed my final drawing on top, and now I flip the whole thing over. I can now still see the entire drawing because I'm using tracing paper, so what I'm going to do now is... I'm going to trace the markings, that show me the edge of my format. So these are the little crosses that define the corners. And now.....”
