“So in this lesson, we're going to look at how you choose the area for your map, and how you plot all the different landmarks on Google Maps. So this would be the base for our whole drawing. So let me show you how to do this. Here I've made a list of all the tourist attractions in London and you're going to have to make a list for your chosen place. So here I have the Barbican Centre, Spitalfield, Seven Dials. Oval. lots of different places. So now we go to Google Maps. Jess Wilson is a London-based illustrator and printmaker who has over ten years of experience in creating commercial illustration and personal screen prints. From a young age, she was encouraged to develop her drawing skills and eventually went on to study graphic design at university, where she discovered a newfound passion for screen printing.
Jess is currently Creative Director of Jealous, a contemporary gallery and Fine Art ScreenPrint studio in East London where her work is sold. She has also worked for major international brands such as Nike, Nokia, and Coca-Cola, and has developed map illustrations for Lululemon and Nhow. Her most recent work was featured on a billboard in Central London for Vape.
