“Render Understanding the Materials I like to use the Lasso tool to get some detail and some definitive shapes, especially in the block out phase. I even use it in the rendering stage here. If there's any small shapes within the larger shapes that I wanna define, it's a quick, simple way, especially in places that don't have much detail light, like these background characters. If any of them was to have a buckle, a tie or a little watch, when you do the Lasso you'll get the shape straight away but also if you loosely brush across the lasso to define the shape, but not too directly and not to...”
