“About Me Hi and welcome to my first course here in Domestika. My name is Michele Bajona and I'm from Vicenza, Italy. My life as an artist probably began when I was a child. Connecting with nature, being aware of the sensation that a new discovery would give to my body and soul. Simple things such as goosebumps on my wet skin, a beach, a beautiful sunset, an old barked tree with all the life moving within it. Michele Bajona is an architect-turned-painter whose artwork has been exhibited throughout America and Europe. He attended the Art Student League in New York City and is a member of Cercle Artístic de Sant Lluc in Barcelona. He currently resides in Mexico City, where he continues to paint and teaches art. He has given masterclasses at Museums and cultural institutions.
In addition to solo and collective exhibitions across the globe, he won the first prize for best video documentary at the 54th Venice Art Biennial, Padiglione Italia.
