Sarah is an excellent tutor and explains everything in a manner that makes the course interesting and easy to understand. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn about colours as Sarah explains it so well. The next course that I book will definitely be one of Sarah’s.

This is a very well thought out and constructed course which makes good allowance for the beginner while allowing the more advanced to skip ahead. The added resources are also excellent this course is well worth considering I am at least an intermediate level artist and I was happy with the content as I picked up new techniques while refreshing myself of those I had forgotten.

Sarah's course taught me a lot about color, especially how to look for color in subtle details. Her teaching style is lovely.. I am brand new to art and watercolor, she started at a place that has given me great tips moving forward in this fun journey. I would highly recommend her course!

this is a good beginners course and given me confidence to continue with water colours
my first attempts in the mono painting were great but my colour birds left me wanting to go back to the start and practice overall I would recomend this course is was great

Overall I really enjoyed the course and thought it was quite useful. I particularly learned from the sections on the color wheel and the value studies. I wish that step by step painting of all four of the birds was shown instead of just two. And also, I wish the camera had just stayed focused more closely on the painting of the last bird. She does do a great job throughout of sharing tips, techniques and her thought process while painting and I am very happy with the purchase of this course.

I'll really enjoyed this course of waterpainting birds. The explanations and showing examples were very usefull for me. The step by step approach by Sarah Stokes leading me all the way to make my final birdpainting.
