Artistic Watercolor Techniques for Illustrating Birds

This was a wonderful and very thorough course. I like how Sarah took the time to demonstrate every step of the process, especially how she mixes colors prior to painting the birds. I will be returning to this course again and again to review the different techniques and concepts. What's really great about this course is that these techniques can be applied to any subject matter. Thank you for the great course!

This was an excellent course. I would not hesitate to recommend it. Sarah is very talented and a good teacher. My only issue is that I was not able to download the content on my computer. Perhaps a little old but I got it in 2019. I was also not able to download Procreate because I don't have any Apple devices.

Sarah explained everything throughout the course, so whether you were a beginning or more experienced, you will learn something new. I especially learned how to look more critically at the colors in the birds' feathers. Subtle, but necessary in layering. I wish she would teach about painting other animals.

Sarah offers clear and easy-to-follow instructions, which are understandable even for those who don't speak English as their first language. Moreover, she offers valuable advice on selecting suitable birds and arranging them in a visually appealing fashion. Sarah also provides guidance on crediting the photographers.

Sarah's teaching was professional, organized and encouraging! She has giving me the confidence to paint birds in watercolor. I have no doubt to take any courses Sarah offers!
