“From image to line: starting the portrait In this lesson we'll start our portrait. As I said, the app that I use to do this portrait is Procreate and with the pencil. To start the portrait, I'll open a new file. The size of the sheet is A4. First I'll import the image of my model. I'll make sure the size isn't too big, and center it in the middle. If you're using your image on paper, take your hoop and use it to calculate the size that you'll print your image because you'll trace that image, with a white sheet.
