He was a painter from the mid-1800s and a leading figure of Impressionism. This movement is characterized by the idea of expressing an instant, a moment of light, without being concerned about the elements of the piece being perfect. The idea is to capture a feeling with the strokes and the use of color. This movement and especially its paintings, really inspire me because the way they painted was with small brushstrokes.
