About the video: What will we do in the course?
Overview
“Throughout the five units of the course I will show you how to start animating with X-Particles and place dynamics and their different settings so that you can generate various types of fluids in your projects or compositions. We are going to start by reviewing the XP interface, and we are going to enter the final project with X-Particles. Its mini-interface within Cinema4D called XpSystem allows us to have everything organized so as not to get lost in the Cinema layers. I will also show the most used dynamics, how to create emitters, generators and, finally, how to cache each scene to be built to have the simulations ready and focus on the art direction of the final finish until rendering with the Redshift render engine. In my case I will use the word "FLOW" as a base, but you are free both to choose your own word and to simply follow what I do until I achieve the same results. It is important that you know that in this course we are going to do an lettering in a different and experimental way with XP. The course is for beginners who want to enter the world of simulations with X-Particles, and lettering focused on the Custom Type. It is important that you have previous knowledge of cinema 4D, because I am going to focus on explaining X-Particles. Although if you follow the course you will acquire enough knowledge to experiment and customize infinite letter shapes. ”
In this video lesson Erich Gordon addresses the topic: What will we do in the course?, which is part of the Domestika online course: Animated 3D Lettering with X-Particles. Learn to create simulations with the Cinema 4D plugin and bring your fonts to life.

“What will we do in the course? In this lesson, we are going to see our lettering that we are going to do. It is important that you follow me throughout this course. They will see that they will have enough tools to start navigating the world of particles. Remember that I am going to do it with a water behavior, a bubble behavior, another with a liquid behavior and all this will be framed in a completely surreal environment and a bit abstract. I'll choose the word "flow", which is a short, four letter word. Therefore, I recommend that you choose a short word make it easy to manipulate, so to...”
