Illustrating Nature: A Creative Exploration

Laura is truly talented and has an incredibly unique approach to her illustrations and I'm thrilled that she shares her knowledge in this very well thought out tutorial. I'm looking forward to applying what I've learned into my sketchbooks. I am a traditional painter in oils and water-colour but was looking for a way to really become more loose and creative in my approach and I think I've come across the right teacher for this.

another wonderful and inspiring course by laura mc kendry. i learned a lot of new approaches to illustrating things from nature, mixing colours, materials, pinsel and how to arrange things to draw. i recommend this course. thanks to laura for her great work.

Free and playful approach has made it very manageable for me as a disabled artist. The course has been very inspiring encouraging everyone to discover their own way of creating.

Loving this course - now halfway through. Colourful, imaginative, stimulating ideas and a beautifully gentle, freeing, enabling approach. I don't have a lot of experience but have surprised myself with some of the playful results. Pure pleasure! Many thanks!

So far I love this course. I am a painter and think that as an artist, the best thing I can do for myself is to watch other artists work, and take workshops to push me out of my comfort zone. Laure McKendry has a fantastic teaching manner, I love her work, her colours. I cant wait to get into the studio to follow up and do the next lesson. I hope she offers more than the 2 she has here on Domestika!

Excellent course to visualize drawing in a different, more free and more creative way. Laura is really good at encouraging students to explore media without expecting perfect results right away. I found it very liberating.
