Illustrating Nature: A Creative Exploration

I've taken dozens of Domestika courses and this is definitely at the top of my favorites list! I really struggle with perfectionism and holding myself back because of what I think something should look like, and this class really helped me just experiment and have fun. I know it's one I'll come back to again and again.

It's the second course of Laura McKendry that I follow. It's a great course. Laura McKendry helps us to release creativity without being a good painter. She offers so much creativity without anxiety or fear to wrong. I love so much this course.

I am about halfway through completing Laura McKendry’s Illustrating Nature course and I am really pleased with the content. I so appreciated that she took the time in the beginning to provide her background and some of the illustrators who had inspired her, as examples. Each lesson is easy to follow and full of examples I have learned a lot from in expanding my watercolor skills. I look forward to more!

This is Laura's second course for me. I find her to be a very positive teacher, because she encourages you to dare without fear of making mistakes. I love her way of using various materials without limits to creativity.
I highly recommend her courses and would love to take one of her courses in person!

C'est le deuxième cours que je fais avec Laura et ses conseils sont toujours aussi inspirants ! Les premiers exercices sont parfaits pour s'échauffer les mains et reprendre la peinture après une longue pause créative. Chaque module est varié ce qui permet d'agrandir son champ technique. Encore merci pour ce cours !

This course is so inispiring, spoke to that part of me that has been dormant for far too long, and ignited my drive to pursue my art dreams again. Laura is an outstanding teacher and her passion shines through. I would highly recommend this course.

I chose this course because it was outside my usual art direction. While I appreciated to be challenged in my views and approach, I didn't learn that much and I don't think I will be painting with sticks anytime soon. Laura is adorable and undoubtedly a talented artist however, I had hoped for more out of this course.

Me ha gustado muchísimo el curso. Explicaciones detalladas y precisas de como descubrir otras maneras de crear, de inspirarse…olvidando la presión por hacer algo perfecto. Se siente la libertad de poder crear a tu antojo, con multitud de materiales… Totalmente recomendable.
