Illustrating Nature: A Creative Exploration

I really enjoyed this course. It helped me regain some freedom in my work. Laura is very encouraging.

Het is een heerlijke cursus. Al de eerste les, hoe zij kijkt naar illustraties van anderen was al zeer inspirerend. Je leert echt goed kijken naar zaken.
Het kunnen uitproberen van allerlei materialen die je hebt, het fouten mogen maken daar leer je ook weer van. En je hand leren om een vorm te tekenen door het vaak te doen.
Ben nog niet klaar met de cursus maar geniet elk moment van het proberen iets op papier te krijgen. (Zelfs een gewone strandschelp kan al een uitdaging zijn!)

Nice teacher who is able to give you the tools for being creative with watercolor in a structured way. I - being a watercolorist for years - knew everything about mixing colors, so that is a part for beginners. I have not yet finished the course, so it is a bit early for me to rate the full course.

Amazing course, very inspiring. Laura's explanations on how to mix and create colours are presented in a very understandable way for a beginner like me. I enjoyed this course so much that I also purchased Laura's course on watercolour.

I like her thoughtful and clear method of teaching. She understands the hangups student face and manages to encourage the best from us.
I particularly like being able to go at my own pace, rewind when necessary.

I'm very much enjoying the process Laura McKendry is taking us through.
I love to see her hands at work and listen to her verbal explanation.
A clear and precise path to loosen up and invite spontaneity.
It's very well structured and I'm making the most of the lessons by first practicing the exercises,
then I try to integrate elements in my own work.
I'm taking all my time to enjoy each step.

I like how she starts by reminding us that mistakes are OK and part of the process. I also like there is over 4hrs of content! As someone who recently bought drawing inks, this course is so helpful

Fab a really thorough exploration of process and a reminder that the journey is the most important part, something , no matter how experienced we are, we need reminding of, especially when we work in isolation. More please!
