“In this lesson, I show you my way of adding shadow and light to your character And I'm also going to show you how I use a simple black and white layer to check the contrast on your character. First, you can see that I've cleaned up a little bit the skin part of my cat. So I have here this layer with the skin. And if I get into more detail, you can see that I have had it using this type of brush. like a little fur texture and some little details. The eyes are not totally cleaned up yet. I'm sort of proceeding step by step in terms of cleaning up the image really But it's already a little bet...”

She has worked with director Wes Anderon as lead character designer for his animated films Fantastic Mr. Fox (2007) and Isle of Dogs (2015). Her long list of clients includes Netflix, Warner Bros, Nexus Films, Agile Films, and Aardman animation. Félicie also gives talks and lectures on animation, and has been a guest speaker at the School of Visual Arts in NYC, Parsons School for Design, Paris, and Pictoplasma Festival in Berlin. In 2010, she wrote, produced, and directed her first short film Je Maudis Ma Nuit, which was selected for festivals across Europe and was screened in France and Switzerland.
