“From Realism to a Fun Little Character: Jump in the Pool! In this lesson we're gonna go from a realistic animal to a fun little character. I asked you to pick an animal. For myself I decided to draw a deer, which is the totem spirit animal of my best friend. I did some research and I have here a rough sketch of what the bones of the deer look like. Here you see how the vertebrae of the deer go from the neck all the way up to inside the little tail. Félicie also gives talks and lectures on animation, and has been a guest speaker at the School of Visual Arts in NYC, Parsons School for Design, Paris, and Pictoplasma Festival in Berlin. In 2010, she wrote, produced, and directed her first short film Je Maudis Ma Nuit, which was selected for festivals across Europe and was screened in France and Switzerland.
