“Varnish as the Final Finish In this lesson, I'll teach you how to finish your portrait. But first, I'll show you how I finished my portrait. I corrected some of the tones on the face, darkening some areas so there's more of a contrast with the light areas. I painted eyelashes on the other eye. And I added shadows on the nose and chin. I also added a few little spots. And I finished by painting some hairs that go over across the face and neck. And also some hairs that fade into the background. Now let's go on to the last step, the varnish. Some painters don't varnish their work, so this step...”
