“What will we do in this course? Embroidery is a very relaxing art. It's kind of meditative process, a lot of repetition. You just don't think about anything. It's not a cure, of course, but it helps with dementia, with anxiety. It helped me, because I couldn't get to sleep. In this course, we'll learn how to embroider our own clothes. I will start with some basics. You'll know what materials to choose, what garments you're going to embroider on and how to work with these fabrics. She’s been embroidering every day ever since.
