I recommend using a platform you use frequently so it's not a tedious task, but becomes a habit. Let's see how. On Instagram there's a practical way of doing it, by saving images. At the bottom of publications there's a bookmark button to save a photo. When you save it, there is an option to save it in an existing or new collection.
