About the final project for: Introduction to Street Photography
Introduction to Street Photography
“Thank you for accompanying me until the end of this course. I hope the course has inspired you to see the daily life of your city in a slightly different way. We talk a little about my work and what inspires me as a photographer. We saw the equipment I use, studied photographic language, and had an idea of how to treat your photos. We put all this into practice on the streets of São Paulo and concluded with the editing of a short essay thinking about ways to publish it in print or on the internet. For the Final Project, I produced images for five days in São Paulo. The series of ten photos can be seen as a visual representation of a day in the metropolis, with images taken in the morning, afternoon and night, in places such as Avenida Paulista, Centro, and Pinheiros. The images bring elements always present in my work, such as natural light and reflections, applied to scenes that I found and that suggest short stories about the city and its inhabitants. This is a part of the process of creating my essay with the result of one of the ten photos we saw during the course: Going out on the streets.
