Alex's course has given me the ability to look at architecture more intimately in color and light. Such a good tutorial for those that have always wished to generate beautiful city landscape structures!

I loved this course. Alex explains perspective in a way that is simple and easy to understand, and his intro to watercolour was brilliant. I had no previous experience with watercolour, except for trying unsuccessfully to make a uniform wash, and giving up in despair. Alex made the medium accessible to me, and I’m having a lot of fun experimenting. It was also a pleasure to glimpse inside his wonderful sketchbooks. Thank you.

Wonderful course. I enjoyed learning how Alex uses micron and white gel pen as scribbled accents. I also LOVE the imagined red awning cafe and how dots and dots implied a bustling business. The most inspiring aspect of the course for me, though, was his review of his sketchbook work. Wow!

This is a really interesting course with lots of explanations about perspective and colour mixing. Although I was already familiar with some of the material, I still found it useful to revisit and check my knowledge, plus pick up good additional tricks and tips. If you like urban landscape, this is a really helpful course. Alex is a good host and explains things well.
