Architectural Sketching with Watercolor and Ink

This is a really interesting course with lots of explanations about perspective and colour mixing. Although I was already familiar with some of the material, I still found it useful to revisit and check my knowledge, plus pick up good additional tricks and tips. If you like urban landscape, this is a really helpful course. Alex is a good host and explains things well.

i would aspect more about technics in watercolour painting but anyway Alex is so enthusiastic and engaging that i can only give a positive rating. My opinion, painting is not the focus of the course

This is a very inspiring and useful course. Alex is a very good teacher and I love that he makes new videos in response to students' posted questions. Alex absolutely doesn't have to, so I appreciate this level of care. My son (11 years old) watches the video with me and he loves the class too. Classes like this has been very helpful during the lockdown. It helped us expand our minds and engage in pursuits that are soul replenishing.

What I especially loved about this class is Alex's calm demeanor and pleasant voice! I could watch and listen to him for hours. With this course I learned a lot of new things about watercolor painting.

This is a great course. Lots of helpful information on perspective. I have watched some of the sections several times to help make sense of a complicated subject.

I thoroughly enjoyed the tutorial, Mr. Hillkurtz. I give you top stars! You delivered the course in relaxing atmosphere and took the time to explain/describe the materials used, the basic concepts and why you would do it 'this way' and not another. It helps that you simplified complex terms, ie focal point, horizon, etc, into language that a beginner can understand.
I have many photographs of our trip to Europe and now I can do something with them. Thank you for sharing years of experience!
