Very impressed with the information, process and delivery of this course by Alex. Although it's for beginners it's great for intermediate and professional alike. A concise tool for even the advanced artist looking for a new direction in style and technique. This course and individual units are simply explained and easy to follow. I like that I can go back at anytime to refresh my memory on the basics of color, perspective and composition. Looking forward to painting at a different level. Kudos!

This course is an extraordinary bargain, whether you are just starting to sketch or have been sketching for years. Alex provides very clear explanations and demonstrations of the basic techniques, as well as a wealth of tips and tricks. As an "urban sketcher" for years, I have mostly stuck with pencil, feeling intimidated by both ink and watercolor. The course has inspired me to explore using my fountain pen in a way that actually works well with my loose pencil style.

I am really a novice having found I like doing watercolour and pen and ink quite late in life. I knew there must have been a reason for all that doodling with my fountain pen sat in meetings when I worked! Anyway I think the course Alex has put together is ideal in every way for me. I really like his style and the content seems structured and goes into enough depth so as not to get too technical. Easy for me to understand and take forward. I’ve learnt a lot and will probably do more courses.
