Excellent course! Very objective, with precious practical advice. It is certainly one of the best online arts courses I have ever taken. I highly recommend the course and I thank Alex Hillkurtz for the opportunity to learn from him.

Alex is a born teacher - his lessons are very applicable for everyone, starting from the very beginners. His story on perspective really put my drawings in place and shape, something so simple, yet not so easily attainable. And he is so generous in sharing his tips and tricks. Thank you, Alex for a wonderful experience :)

Mr. Hillkurtz’s class far and away exceeded my expectations. I was expecting to dive right in but I very much appreciated the initial personal background that he provided on himself, his philosophy and his overall approach.

Definitely take this course if you are interested. I have never been able to draw. This course teaches you perspective and how to create interesting viewpoints. Alex is a terrific teacher and very interesting to listen too. I have not completed the course but I know I will return to it often. I am a beginner but most of the people in the class are intermediate. You will learn and highly enjoy this class!

Alex is an accomplished artist and has a distinct style. It's great to get an insight into his process and thinking. Equally challenging and inspiring, this course offers a lot of valuable tips and techniques to improve your sketching and painting practice. I got as much out of the intro, Alex' background and his inspiration as out of the actual project. On top of that, he's just such a likeable guy and his presentation style is warm and inviting. You won't regret taking this course.

I struggle with making my buildings look interesting - they're too stiff and structured.
Taking this course made me realize I needed to be less structured and more fluid in my drawing..

Es un buen curso, Alex explica muy bien y está al pendiente por si tiens dudas, aprendes de él y aunque seas principiante o avanzado en acuarela son horas bien invertidas, además tienes practicas y un proyecto final y material de apoyo para que sea mas fácil entenderlo. Bien!

Muy buen introductorio! Me gustaría que tuviera más detalle de como hacer cada cosa porque soy principiante pero comprendo que para eso se necesitan más horas de clase. Alex no sólo se esmera por explicar bien sino que responde consultas en la comunidad. Muy buena ayuda!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this course. I have always been interested in learning how to better my painting skills and this was so simple and easy to follow. Alex was an excellent teacher and was truly inspired me to learn more about watercolour paint. I cannot wait to go and explore so as I can practice my new skills. The course was well structured and entertaining.

Great course, you learn interesting things even if watercolors aren’t new to you. I recommend it!
