Architectural Sketching with Watercolor and Ink

As an absolute beginner in watercolor painting, with a special interest in architecture, I found this course of immense assistance. Alex's lessons are clear and concise, providing all I needed to begin my own unique art journey. I now know that the ideas I've had circulating through my mind can be articulated and fully expressed in ink and watercolor.

This course was so informative. I have been painting street scenes and buildings for years, but now I feel much more confident about my efforts.

It was ok, but I didn’t really learn anything. I did the projects but there was basically zero feedback or critique. Instruction was very brief and minimal. Overall, I’m not sure who this course is for. If you are an absolute beginner then there’s not much help and guidance. If you are more intermediate then you’ll probably know most of the techniques. Only positive I would say is that you get to watch a professional artist work on a painting (Alex’s work is exceptional, he is very talented).

I absolutely recommend this course. The instructor was phenomenal. He explained everything in a clear and concise way, and his personal inspiration for art is contagious. The course was broken down into actionable steps and gave me the tools and confidence to create my own architectural watercolor painting.

Very clear, understandable instructions. Great description and examples of how to do linear and atmospheric perspective. Use of color and how and when to add details was also super helpful. A great review for a lapsed amateur artist like myself and so many practical tips. I highly recommend this course and would do an advanced one if available.
