After a break of more than 20 years the desire to do something with watercolors again overcame me....plus a pandemic granted me more leisure time (something positive to come out of it!) This course was so appealing since it combines my appreciation of beautiful architecture (so abundant here in Europe) with my love of watercolor. I‘ve always found it fascinating that you cannot fully control the paint...it takes you along on a journey that IT determines and is always a surprise, as opposed to the architectural element in this type of painting. I have lived in Germany, Australia, the USA (Greenbrae CA, by the way, Alex) and now live near Turin, Italy. So lots of great past and present impressions to get on paper.
