Architectural Sketching with Watercolor and Ink

Not only does this course provide a great introduction to water colour painting by providing essential techniques required but Alex has personalised the content in a way that creates a connection with his students by sharing his personal sketchbooks, earlier work and influences. Like his artwork, the modules are clean, homing in on the essential information he would like to impart. As a beginner I learned a lot in a short space of time and throughly enjoyed the course. Highly recommended!

I used to have a problem when I draw buildings or even a simple square shape, it was
Non-parallelogram. With this course, I started to take my time, and I started to apply the linear perspective and the two-point perspective, I found it very helpful.
This course is a very significant, simple, and fun class.

I ended the course being very excited about trying out the ideas I received from Alex. The course developed very clearly. Alex explained the process in such a way that I felt totally immersed in what he said and showed. What an exciting life.

Alex is a fabulous teacher. His explanations are clear and concise, and he moves us along in a logical progression. The homework is of course related to the architectural theme of the course, but also offers great ideas to help improve your overall sketching and watercolor skills. I love that I can rewatch units, as I pick up more details each time. I'm having fun expanding my creative side.
