Estoy terminando de ver todos loa videos y seguir los consejos que nos da Alex y me ha encantado. Todo lo que nos enseña es muy útil, y vemos a cada paso como lo hace. Un curso magnífico que recomiendo a todo aquel que quiera trabajar con acuarelas desde otro punto más de vista. Completo en que da información diferente, y se ve que dibuja y pinta de maravilla.

Plenty of content but it took too long to get to any practical exercises.
Heavy on a very long introductory autobiographical lecture, a quick dash through materials to use and then a lot of theory.
The demonstrations had high expectations of a certain level of skill and this could lead to demoralisation.
Too theoretical and not enough enjoyment for me. Personal taste but not for me.

Alex shares his love of urban sketching from an extensive background in Hollywood illustration including set design and creating a sense of design, realism and atmosphere. He is a great teacher, and deftly sachets through perspective, materials, lighting and picking the best view, to ultimately capturing a special image and memory of place and time.

Great course! Encourages you to have a go, not worry about mistakes and have some fun. Learning to love light!

I really appreciate the clear progression and the approach of suggesting detail using contrast and thoughtful mark making. Really has inspired me to experiment and to allow my skills to develop and change over time!
