Architectural Sketching with Watercolor and Ink

I love this lesson ! Very synthetic and complet at the same time. A lot of progress coming from the small pro tips that Alex shares along !

It's an amazing course. Alex Hillkurtz explained every bit of the process clearly. I'll be taking my time in learning this course because I just realized how amazing pens and watercolors as a medium are. just doing the exercises is fun and wonderful. Watercolors as they mellow out are hypnotizing.

For a variety of reasons, it took me a couple of years to complete this course. But Alex Hillkurtz has put together an amazing course, demo'ing a gorgeous painting of an architectural scene that includes plenty of detailed instructions on all the components of watercolour painting. I love his personal style, and appreciate the final lesson which encourages students to find their own voice. His sketchbooks are incredible, and it's so cool to see his stylistic evolution.

This course showed me a new yet interesting method of sketching. I was always trying to add more details however I’ve learned that less is better 😇
