6 Pro Tips to Upgrade your Architectural Visualizations
1. The color palette
The color palette you choose for your visualizations is a key point to consider. It will determine the look of your renders. A good color palette will improve your images and provide a unique atmosphere. Architecture on Paper use neutral tones to prevent any one element or color from dominating over the others.

2. Lighting
Lighting can also help achieve a unique architectural visualization style. Architecture on Paper recommend using soft lights that project gentle shadows, and diffuse lights that enter the various openings.

3. Finish
Another key element to consider is achieving a polished finish. Use filters and textures (fabric, noise,) in every image. This will ensure all your projects share the same aesthetic.

4. A characteristic feature
Architecture on Paper also advise adding a characteristic feature to all your images, as this will help achieve your unique signature style. They use vegetation, which helps to fill the space and gives their projects a particular look.

5. Character
Choose the style of your architectural visualizations. Ask yourself if you prefer a more photorealistic render or a more abstract collage? Or perhaps you could combine both choices and achieve varying degrees of realism and artfulness.

6. Storytelling
Last but not least, it’s important to remember that your images have to tell a story. Including characters in your designs helps to add a special touch, so make sure they’re a good fit for your architectural visualization. For example, when designing a residential building, it’s important to situate the people who live there, from the children to anyone else who will use your setting.
