Meet Multi-Disciplinary Artist Brunna Mancuso in this Domestika Diary
The mix of techniques is one of the characteristics of this artist who works with illustration, ceramics, embroidery or tattoos
What does it mean to be a multi-disciplinary artist? For Brunna Mancuso (@bmancuso) it means creating her designs in different forms using a range of techniques, mostly illustration and ceramics.
Mixed media is one of the main features of this artist’s work. She paints in watercolor, gouache and acrylics and moves happily between embroidery and tattoo.
In this edition of Domestika Diary, Brunna shows us around her studio and reveals her creative process and routines.
Painting
Brunna Mancuso has always loved painting. For years she focused on watercolors.
But she now also works with gouache and acrylics, often using a range of techniques in a single work.

Female forms
Female figures are the main subject of Brunna’s work. She loves drawing women who feel comfortable with themselves.

She loves all shapes, including the shapes that materialize through the work itself, for example when she’s using ceramics, tattooing, painting or working on digital illustrations.
