Discover 5 Domestika community projects that use 'The Joker' as inspiration.

As we get ready to celebrate the release of The Joker movie on October 4th, we want to share 5 of our top community projects that have been done with The Joker as their inspiration! Each of these projects were submitted as a part of different courses by some of our talented students and we think you will enjoy them just as much as we have.

For his final course project in “Designing and Modeling Comic Book Characters with ZBrush”, by Danu Navarro, this rendition of The Joker shows us how much time and work is put into making a sketched out design the real thing!

4. Carlos Nicolás Retis Cáceres, @nico_retis
This artist really leaned into the teachings from Abraham Garcia’s course “Digital Shading Techniques” and created something amazing! The use of different colors, patterns, shades, and shapes is truly breathtaking.

Pablo Vera Acevedo

Diego Catalan Amilivia teaches students how to create realistic anatomical drawings in his course “Realistic Portraits with Graphite Pencil”, something that this student truly embraced! The level of detail and shading in his final project is incredible. The Joker is perfectly depicted in his manic, shadowy manner that we all know.

We are so excited to see how the new film tells the story of The Joker and inspires even more artists to create amazing projects such as the ones above. Hopefully this article even gave you a bit of inspiration to create something new!
