5 Projects to Honor Elvis Presley on His Birthday

On January 8, 2024, Elvis Presley would have turned 89 years old. To pay tribute to him, we have selected some of the best works created by Domestika students.
.Elvis has been gone for many years, yet he continues to inspire thousands and thousands of people in different walks of life across the globe. With his trademark toupee and inimitable hip movements, the King of Rock marked a milestone in the history of international music.
That's why it's not uncommon for students in many Domestika courses to use his image as inspiration for their projects. Today Elvis would have been 89 years old and we want to pay a small tribute to him by selecting five works in which Elvis is the absolute protagonist. Enjoy them and tell us which one is your favorite.

The graphic designer Alberto Camacho Gordaliza created this Elvis that we could well find in the typical stores with illustration frames. The shape of the legs gives Elvis and the image a touch of movement worthy of this great star.

It is amazing how you can create works with a single material and a single color that clearly shows us the figure of Elvis. In this case, the Canadian user kathrynkozody presents us with a 3D King of Rock with a fixed and powerful gaze to infinity. A work worthy of framing.

The graphic designer and illustrator Ferrant Sirvent Diestre created a project halfway between vectors and digital painting in which we see a colorful Elvis, with his mythical white suit with stars, and to which he gives a touch of imagination by painting the singer's eyes green.

In this work by Ferrant Sirvent Diestre we find an image of a more haughty Elvis, not only because of his look and the shape of his mouth, but also because of his crossed arms, which give him the sensation of challenging us.

Between the singer and the dancer Elvis, Diego Alanís decided to choose the first one to highlight him in his project. Through three black and white drawings of different sizes, the car shows us a passionate Elvis, in different ways, but always with the microphone in his hand.
