"Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dum”, Bee Eaters in watercolour by Sarah Stokes @sarah_stokes

Last year, Sarah was on an art retreat in Africa, an experience that allowed her to observe the native wildlife up close. During this time, she created this artwork in A2 format, approaching it in sections due to its large size, using the painting technique on dry paper, allowing the colors to spread and blend naturally.

My project for course: Style Exploration for Illustration by Ingela P Arrhenius @hello_ingela

The community has very well appreciated this project by Ingela. In it, she shows us the different explorations she has made to create five different styles with the same concept. Momot by Antonia Reyes Montealegre @paraiso__perdido

The project "Momot" emerges from an artistic residency of Antonia Reyes in Costa Rica. In this work she captures the essence of the Cloud Forest in sketches and watercolors. A short film made in a homemade style, it accompanies us through the sounds of the forest and shows us the creative process. It is a visual and sound celebration of nature and art. Since November 2021, Stig has shared the pages of her "Gratitude Card," inspired by Kate Sutton's course: "Illustrated Life Journal: A Daily Mindful Practice" Passionate about the art of sketchbooking, she invites everyone to discover its charms. She believes that drawing the highlights of the day not only enhances a receptive disposition to appreciate the positive in life but also gives meaning to the everyday.
