So, what is my idea of an insane character/creature?

I've asked myself this question many times, my style has developed dramatically since I did my first piece of creature art after moving out of the vehicle environment. Taking inspiration from other talented character artists and iconic movies such as Aliens/Prometheus, Akira, BattleLA and Ghost in the Shell.

I've invested time, energy and much thought into defining my style, which I describe as gritty, dark, of high fidelity with a cinematic feel. I now understand how to bring a creature to life and I can give you the structure and platform to do this and create something that will give you a strong sense of pride.

I can share my experience, structures and creative content and along with the free resources, such as the geometry kit and custom-made brushes, will really help make this a reality along with the easy-to-follow course structure. "3D Character Modeling for Organic and Hard Surfaces".

Ever since first seeing Zbrush I was captivated by it, I just knew it was the future of the CG industries, especially with the creative freedom it provides. Being part of the Domestika community provides an environment of growth, through constructive feedback and the sharing of resources. Along with the opportunity to really push ourselves with the creative freedom that the Zbrush software allows.

So, let's begin our journey, where we go from initial concept to final sculpt, to create an army of some Out-of-this-World characters, in a hyper-realistic style with plenty of lore and back-story.
