if you're an aspiring creator or just want to have some fun creating fantasy characters, i recommend this course. nicholas kole is a wonderful teacher when it comes to art. he's articulate, authentic, and allows room for grace/compassion. there's a balance amount of practical tips and technical drawing/software info. even better, he consistently expresses how important it is to prioritize your intuition in the drawing process so you don't get bogged down by perfectionism. try it for yourself!

This so so good. I picked this up a while a go, but find myself coming back it again and again. Not only is Nicholas super skilled, lovely and helpful, his way of explaining things just makes things seem so simple in the best possible way. Un gran curso para entender el proceso de creacion de personajes asi como reglas para que dichos personajes se vean fluidos.

Nicholas is genuinely generous, openly sharing his creative process, ideas, and thoughts while striving to make everything clear. Through well-structured steps, he shares his knowledge and inspires. As a beginner, what draws me to illustration is self-expression. I absolutely love this course. I know I'll keep coming back to it for knowledge, inspiration, and motivation.

The course was pretty great, but the character coloring parts were a bit confusing due to the teacher not using the effects clearly enough for the students to follow which was a big miss.

Buen curso, lo compre para ilustrar una criatura mágica de una novela que estoy escribiendo, es bastante avanzado, pero lo volveré a ver en reiteradas ocasiones, hasta poder terminar proyecto de personaje de fantasía.
El instructor es muy profesional y detallado al explicar, lo recomiendo para quienes algo conocen del programa.
