Janaka Samarakoon

Hello, I am a passionate and versatile creative professional with expertise in photography, videography, graphic design, and publishing. I hold a Master’s degree in Art History, which fuels my particular interest in short documentary filmmaking, especially focused on the arts. To date, I have produced over 100 short documentaries showcasing local artists from the South of France and their exhibitions.

In addition to my visual storytelling, I have a strong background in graphic design and book design. I have successfully completed various publishing projects, from concept to finished product.

I am constantly seeking exciting projects with unique perspectives that challenge me and allow me to grow as a creative. My goal is to collaborate with like-minded individuals and organizations to produce work that is not only visually stunning but also meaningful and impactful.
