I am Ela Desai, hard working and a driven individual who not let any harm come to my loved ones and will face all challenges thrown at my face. I am passionate about food and cooking from a very young age.
My desire is to write my own cookery book through my childhood stories with my late mum’s recipes which have been passed on to me. I would love my mum’s legacy to be carried on by my own two children, my two nieces and my nephew.
Just like ‘Pineapple Upside Down’ and ‘Gajar Ka Halwa’, making a lasting delicious sweet taste in people’s mouth, to remember me by my sweet, kind nature on their taste buds and come back for more.
A sweet tooth might be linked to ‘Sweet’ and ‘Agreeable’ personality.
Sweet personality meaning ‘Agreeableness’, ‘Friendliness’ and a ‘Pleasant Disposition’ which I am.
I also design and make personalised greeting cards. My card page is ‘Desai4Design’!
Since last year, I have attended three short courses. ‘Cooking on a Budget’, ‘Art Journalling’ and Nagomi Art’.
I love anything Japanese, whether it’s cuisine, cooking, Origami, Nagomi Art or Gardening.
