Garima Shukla

I am Garima Shukla - an artist, illustrator, graphic designer, and design mentor by profession. I started my professional journey around 10 years back and have worked with design studios, startups, and internet first companies and led their design charter. In the most recent avatar, I was working with Paytm as Assistant Design Manager where I worked on the design for social media/ store-front and offline for PayTm Travel and Paytm- Mall. Before this, I led the design for the D2C brand Mydreamstore. My expertise is largely in setting up illustration styles from scratch, design systems for brands along with defining and executing their branding and marketing communication. I have been working in academia in the past and have taken the Information Design for Master of Design students at NIFT Bangalore. I have also been fortunate to deliver multiple workshops (taught more than 500+ students in the last 1.5 years) on subjects like Doodling, software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Procreate. I have also mentored/counseled more than 100+ people who were making the switch to Design as a career or were in the formative stages.
