Sheryl Stiffler

About 10 years ago, my sweet husband gave me a Christmas gift of a shopping spree at an art store. I got hooked on watercolors and love the way they interact with each other and bring a life of their own to the painting. Lately I have also been exploring oils. I’ve taken several live or online workshops with artists I admire and respect, including Dreama Tolle Perry, Joyce Hicks, Vinita Pappas, and Don Andrews. My favorite subjects include animals, landscapes, and anything from the ocean. As a psychotherapist, I’m always aware of the deep connections we can make with others through art, and I love the experience of expressing emotions, hopes, and dreams through painting.
