The first twenty five years of my working life I was a carpenter. The last half of that I mostly installed cabinets and built-ins. A couple of the people I worked for had nice shops, one with a 10" Delta Unisaw, 15" planer and 8" jointer. After working in that shop I decided I would have a Unisaw some day. When I retiring eight years ago I couldn't afford a Unisaw but found a 10" Jet cabinet saw. After that I added a 6" jointer (soon to be 8") Dewalt 735 planer, 14" P.M. bandsaw and 15" drill press and a pickup truck load of hand tools. It becomes and obsession if you aren't carful. I have quite a bit of experience building and installing cabinets. Now trying to learn to build nice furniture has been a steeper learning curve than I expected but a lot of fun.
