This is my final project for this wonderful and inspiring course. I will use the knowledge Sarah Stokes beautifully taught us to improve my abilities and to continue to investigate the intimate connection between art and science.

Teacher PlusThank you Ylenia, I’m so glad that you enjoyed the course. I absolutely love your final project. You’ve captured the birds’ curious and cheeky natures so well! Your attention to detail, with layering and different brush strokes is so effective. This can be seen so well on the branches. Quite often, these are treated almost as an afterthought, but you have made them a thing of beauty in terms of colours and textures. What a superb piece... the whites, colours and darks make this a really wonderful painting.
