Olga Dimoliati

Born in 1981 in Athens, Olga Dimoliati is a Greek artist who currently lives and works in Malaysia. Olga's work is deeply influenced by her Greek roots and highly inspired by nature and places she visits around the world.
Her special connection with the Aegean sea and Cycladic islands is greatly depicted in her work. The many different tones of the blue sea and sky, the dazzling sun, light and shade, the local architecture, the bright white, the golden summer landscapes and lacy shoreline. At the same time, for almost ten years now, new countries, places, images, experiences, materials, colours, life has been the inspiration for unique creative sparkles.
Olga has been making art since a young age and her artistic style is constantly changing and evolving. Her studies in Interior Architecture & Design (MDes) has helped her further develop her intuitive and instinctive art skills. Fascinated by diversity she loves working with various materials and techniques in order to create powerful pieces of art of any dimension and shape, from mini-art pieces, big murals or anything in between.
Olga's inborn sense of respect and sensitive appreciation of nature has given her the opportunity to explore ways of creating mindful art, often by using raw materials 'offered' by nature in order to raise the question of environmental responsibility and the impact our actions and choice of aesthetics have on our planet.
