Omar Pavon

I was born in Mexico City, my father is an Architect and my mother studied art history. From an early age, my mom taught me about the different painting periods, artists, museums and nationalities. On the other hand, my dad encouraged me to start drawing as soon as I could hold a pencil. However, I never considered illustrating as a career. I did work as a cartoonist in a local news paper for a short time, but then I pursued a career in Culinary Arts. Now, after many years perfecting the art of cooking, I realized how much I still enjoy learning about drawing illustration.
