I started crocheting after my first back surgery about 9 years ago. I was so drugged up, I had to quit until my second back surgery. I quit again until about 2 years ago (3rd back surgery). And I stayed with it! I saw that you could make cute little critters. I am NOT the kind of person to make clothes or blankets. All that crocheting would make me go crazy. But little critters were small and cute and fast (well, compare to blankets). And I didn't want to make GRANNY SQUARES! I do now though, by the way. I have been a full time caregiver to my 96 year old mother since January and crocheting is helping me keep the little bit of sanity I have left. And I am getting pretty good at it, I think! But I am a true believer, that you can always learn new things. And I have with your videos. Like: stuffing! how you roll it like a meatball! (I'm Italian and food oriented. Also, extended single crochet!! WHO KNEW!!!! Never heard of it! And most importantly, amigurumi don't have MOUTHS! Must not be Italian!!! Seriously though, I never knew that. I love your videos and I am learning so much from them. Oh, and Lydia Tresselt is my favorite designer too. I have bought her kits and love everyone of them.
