From Watercolor to Web Comics with Tony Moy | July 7 | EN | 4 PM (ES) How does a traditional watercolor painting become a comic ready for both the web and print? In this live session, Tony Moy will share the creative process behind “4forty2nd,” his watercolor graphic novel inspired by the Japanese-American battalions that fought during World War II. The session will begin with a traditional watercolor demonstration and then move on to a screen-sharing workflow showing how the work is edited and adapted for two different publication formats: web comics and print. Through this process, Tony will explore how decisions regarding layout, presentation, and storytelling change depending on the final format, while also demonstrating how traditional techniques can be combined with digital publishing workflows.
