I took up an art course just under a year ago, and have really enjoyed the challenge it sets me. I haven't done any art since I left school forty years ago. Generally speaking I become enthusiastic about something and then lose interest quickly - I'm very bad at not completing projects! However, this time around I just love it. My favourite medium (we cycle through drawing with pencil, charcoal, soft and oil pastels, onto watercolour and then acrylic paints) is definitely watercolour. I just love it, but I know that my technique is not what it could be and I can get frustrated. Over to you!
