“CIRCULAR MACRAMÉ AND LINEAR MACRAMÉ Now that we know what we'll be doing in our project, I will explain the difference between circular and linear macramé. In linear macramé we start from a horizontal axis. From this horizontal axis we hang all our cords and we start weaving from the axis towards the bottom. And in circular macramé we start from a central axis and we start weaving from the center to the outer perimeter of the fabric. Both in linear and circular macramé we use the same knots.
